Stefanie recognizes the value of investing into the health of her community. Since 2021, she’s been a volunteer at the Sixth Street Community Fridge (formerly Loisaida CommUnity Fridge) in the East Village, helping to fight food insecurity in NYC. She also mentored with Reel Works as part of their ‘24-‘25 Documentary Lab. Additionally, she is part of the team behind BIPOC Doc Editors and manages their Instagram page along in addition to providing assistance at events. She also makes herself available to emerging editors and assistant editors that need career advice. 

Stefanie welcomes new opportunities that align with her personal values and help marginalized communities. She would like to further focus her philanthropy into the film and documentary spaces.
