Stefanie Maridueña, ACE is an Eddie and Emmy nominated documentary editor living in NYC. Her credits include “Reality Check: Inside America’s Next Top Model,” the sports docu-series "America's Sweethearts: Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders" and "Cheer" on Netflix, "The 1619 Project" on Hulu, and "The Circus" on Showtime. She prides herself on her ability to bring an empathetic lens to the edit and ensure a story is told with clarity and creativity.

Born in the outskirts of the Ecuadorean rainforest, she attributes her empathetic editing approach to her upbringing in Latin America and experience as an immigrant in the United States. Through her work, Stefanie strives to accurately represent diverse perspectives while highlighting the challenges affecting different communities. She takes pride in her ability to authentically portray a subject’s unique point of view, allowing audiences to connect with their motivations and character while ensuring that their story is handled with care. Ultimately, she hopes to continue telling stories that highlight the human experience and surprise audiences with a compelling narrative.

When she’s not editing, Stefanie enjoys running, going to karaoke in the LES and spending quality time with her dog, Gaia.
